Show Notes

Thank You for Free Toys!: Godbeast

Review: King Korpse by James Groman
Designed by MadBalls designer James Groman and produced by Instinct Toys. The exposed skeleton along with all the detail in the veins n muscles fibers and the mean looking face will have Planet of the Apes chimps hiding for cover. Has to be one designer toy of the year for sure. While James designed and sculpted the ape, Hiroto Ohkubo of Instinctoy added the Liquid Heart to the design as his part of the collaboration.   The removable heart peeks out between the bones of the removable rib cage. Sold out everywhere and selling for ridiculous amounts on the second market, collectors can get their own again during DesignerCon.

Review: Kidrobot Half Ray 5 inch Dunny by Jason Freeny
You’ve gotten the full view. Now it’s time to cut it in half! Kidrobot and Jason Freeny team up for an anatomical view of the 5-inch Dunny. Crafted in Freeny’s anatomical style, the Kidrobot Half Ray Dunny by Jason Freeny 5-Inch Vinyl Figure shows off the inner workings of one of Kidrobot’s most recognizable platforms. Limited to only 1,000 pieces worldwide, it will add some x-ray vision to your collection! Kidrobot previously worked with Jason Freeny on the 8-inch Visible Dunny and the wildly popular Anatomical Wabbit (each sold separately).

Review: Creeplings Blindbox Mini Figures
Creeplings are soft collectible miniature toys, each with its own name, personality, and color. The characters have a fun spookiness to them—Aldo is a green alien, Chunk is a bitten cookie, and Yeti Ron is a bearded Yeti. Each Creepling, 48 possibilities!!, will come with comic strips to go hand in hand with all the characters. Gus Fink who’s designs our toys; Emi Boz is the master sculptor whose worked with Gus for the past 7 years.
